When time is at a premium, co-ordination is key, which is why we are long on planning and short on execution, especially when you have many different trades that need to work in a relatively small area.

 

The scope of our work and the variety of clients that we provide solutions for is a good illustration of our versatility and contractual ability. A trusted company, Gilbert-Ash Fitout is the Homebase contractor in Ireland and over the past three years our teams have fitted-out 13 stores from Dublin to Derry. More are at the planning phase.

 

The 3500m2 Homebase in Junction One in Antrim, Northern Ireland’s newest and biggest retail park, took only 39 days to fit-out.

 

We have also recently fitted-out the new 2000m2 Argos Extra in Dundalk which is a new flagship concept store for Argos in Ireland. There is also a new store underway in Strabane plus planned stores for Arklow and Cork.

 

Developed over 30 years, at home and overseas, we have also exported our expertise working on projects as diverse as the place we sometimes find ourselves in. The fitting-out of the Gymeney department store in Moscow is a good example.

 

And it is not just the larger retail sector, like Homebase and Argos, that Gilbert-Ash Fitout facilitates either. To name a few, the company works for Eason & Sons in Northern Ireland and has fitted-out Reid Furniture stores in Newtownabbey, Bangor and Dublin, and Benetton’s new store in Armagh – all fitted-out to the same professional standard.

 

In providing quality fit-out and complete refurbishment solutions, we have also developed a team that is capable of fitting-out and installing a wide range of systems and utilities. These include: plumbing and heating systems; washrooms; kitchens and alarm systems; air-conditioning units; door entry systems; handrails and balustrades; ceramic tiling and glazed partitions; fire detection & suppression systems; raised floors; mezzanine floors; bespoke floor finishes; power and lighting.
