Like Slater Design itself, the company’s flagship studio is vibrant, different and makes a considerable statement about the business, its ethos and direction. Previously used as a storage facility for a local stationery company in Holywood, County Down, we transformed it into a state-of-the-art design facility for one of Northern Ireland’s leading graphic designers.

Spacious, minimalist, full of natural light and eminently practical, the interior now is unashamedly modern. The main entrance is chic, surrounded as it is in thin strips of zinc.Through a large glass front door and you’re into an entrance hall that isn’t. In fact it’s a tall, gently sloping 60-foot long purpose-built tunnel that has no a parallel line in sight. Its narrowing perspective draws you into the heart of a bright and spacious studio that gives you a genuine sense of arrival – just as the architect intended.
